Two more PhD studentships have been filled.
Mid-August I gave an invited talk at WAC 2020 preceeding Crypto 2020, here is a brief summary and a link to the recording on YouTube.
We are hiring another post-doc and PhD student: the positions are fixed-term (until September 2023 for the post-doc, 40 months for the PhD student). We invite applicants with a back ground in either side channels/applied crypto or statistics/AI/data science (assuming they are interested in a cybersecurity angle to their work).
The second lecturer post in the cybersecurity research group has now been filled: Elena Andreeva (previously at DTU, PhD from KUL) has just started.
Yan Yan received his PhD from the Universit of Bristol in 2019. After graduating, he remained in Elisabeth’s team as a Research Associate the University of Bristol. His research interests center around the exploitation of side channels, in particular on small embedded devices (IoT).
