The second lecturer post in the cybersecurity research group has now been filled: Elena Andreeva (previously at DTU, PhD from KUL) has just started. Elena has a distinguished career: after her PhD in the COSIC, which is did under the supervision of Bart Preneel on hash functions, she worked as Post-Doc at COSIC until 2017, when she took up the position as research expert there, and thereafter she jointed DTU as lecturer. Her research interests are broad and span topics such as Symmetric cryptography, Provable security, Cryptanalysis, Multi-party computation, Protocol security, and Postquantum security.
