Si Gao received his PhD at the Institute of Software from the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2017. After graduating, he joined Elisabeth Oswald as a Research Associate the University of Bristol. His research interests include cryptographic engineering & security evaluations, with a focus on side channel aware design flows and toolchains.

Si Gao will be instrumental to supporting the research funded projects: initially his work will be focussed on REASSURE (H2020 funding) and from March on he will be fully working on the ERC CoG SEAL.
